My name is Susan Nicholson and I am an experienced Senior Human Resources Consultant with over 20 years of experience, a Chartered Fellow of the CIPD and Accreditated Mediator with the Mediators Institute of Ireland.

I started my career in the Pharmaceutical Industry in a multinational Pharma Company, Gilead Sciences Limited.  After over 7 years, I moved to the world of FMCG in Mars Foods, where I worked in HR and took a career detour into the Commercial side of the business to develop and grow my general business exposure and experience.

I moved to an HR Consulting Business when I decided it was time to return to HR, gaining invaluable experience working directly with clients across a diverse range of sectors.

I expanded my sector experience further by spending 5 years in the Financial Services Industry at Swiss Re Insurance, working in a hybrid role of local HR support and a member of a global team rolling out strategic people-driven initiatives.

I took the decision to focus on Consulting partnering with individual Companies, Leaders and Teams to manage the HR process - from setting up the basic foundations of the HR structure to managing more complex Employee Relation issues with a specific focus on Learning and Development and a commitment to supporting Leaders to get the best out of their teams to reach full potential for success.

My approach and style are calm, open and relaxed, with the objective always to find the best solution for the client.  My aim is for the HR function to be a true strategic and commercial business partner to drive and develop the human capital of companies I work with to help

achieve the objectives.
